Fight after fight, Akira was impressed. He watched untill it was his turn. "Contestants 13 and 14 please report to the arena", he heard the announcer say. He was ready. He was nervous. He was a lot of things. But he wasn't ready to lose. He boarded THANATOS and made his way for the arena. He was standing there alone in the arena. He wondered where, or who, his opponent was. He waited around for awhile. *Where the hell are they* Akira thought. "Contestant 14 please report to the arena. You have five minutes before you are disqualified", said the announcer. *C'mon, c'mon* Akira thought. He sat back in his cockpit seat, thinking about the fight he just recently saw. It was between a Zaku II and a RGM-79FP GM Striker. The Striker won, ramming a spike shield into the Zaku's face, and then unleashing multiple rounds into it's chest. Akira watched that fight with anticipation, hoping that didn't happen to him. "Contestant 14 you have thirty seconds to report to the arena before disqualification", the announcer said. *Hurry up you idiot* Akira thought. He really wanted to fight. He needed the prize money. He needed to find Miko's killer. "Five....four...three....", the seconds counted down. Akira gasped. *Hurry dammit!* he screamed in his head. "two....one.....zero.....Contestant 14 you are hereby....huh?" The announcer was stricken. So was Akira. He couldn't believe his eyes. How could this person be his opponent.......?

Yukari went to Mt. Fuji towards the tournament. She tried to register earlier, but the guy at the registry said that all contestants were entered and they would have no further registries. So, Yukari decided to take matters into her own hands. She activated her thrusters and sped towards the mountain. She eventually arrived. She landed her Mobile Suit, disengaged, and walked around. She thought about how she would get in the fight. She thought about killing one of the contestants. She then talked sense into herself saying there was no pay or purpose for it. She considered knocking one out, but they'd awake eventually, and expose her for a fraud. She was about to give up when she saw one of the contestants come out of a room. She walked over to him, and began talking. "Hey", she said.
"What? Who are you?" he said
"Nevermind that", said Yukari, "how would you like to make an easy 50,000 bucks?"
"You gonna pay it, sweetheart?" he said.
Yukari pulled out 50,000 cash, and handed it out to him. "Whoa!" he said reaching for it. Yukari slapped him. "First, you have to do something for me", she said, "I want you to give me your spot in this tournament".
"You've got a deal. It goes by numbers here. Let me tell you mine".
Yukari couldn't believe this.
She was in.

*There's no way.....no way in hell* Akira thought. Because standing there in front of him was a pink and red RGM-79SP GM Sniper II. Inside that Mobile Suit was a mercenary:
Yukari Sanaka.
"How did you get in?"Akira said. "Don't worry about it", Yukari said. She was as stunned as Akira, but she didn't show it. Akira knew how this was going to end. There's no way someone like him was going to beat a Mobile Suit pilot as excellent as Yukari Sanaka.
He knew he was going to die.
But he wasn't going to throw the fight. He was going to tough this out and take the humiliatingly painful beating he was going to recieve. "So, you ready for this Akira?" she said.
".....bring it!" Akira said.
"If you say so!" cried Yukari, charging at Akira with full speed.
Akira watched as her thrusters burned to the highest temperature. He watched as she glided her Mobile Suit left and right to avoid any attacks Akira might make. He watched as she drew her weapon up to THANATOS' face.
He watched as the bullets ripped into it.....

Des Rummuged through the piles of junk occasionally finding something worthwhile. "Lucky for me ppl throw away useful stuff all the time." Des waved a nearby truck to back up to the pile he was standing on so he could just throw stuff into it. He tossed what he was holding inside and looked at his checklist. "Lets see. well i can get most of the stuff im looking for here. the rest im probobly better off getting from my supplies." Des gave some directions to a few men with him and then got back to searching the pile. He pulled out a large metal military-grade crate and checked inside. there was of course nothing in it but he put it in the truck anyway. "Well i could use it for something i bet." He went on the rest of the day pulling out commen items, some useful, some not, until the truck was filled up, He got inside it and drove back to his work area.

"Damn it!" Akira said as Yukari charged him. She had already shot him in the face. Now she was doing a round trip to avoid any attack, and was charging him with energy sabers drawn. He knew he was screwed. He knew Yukari would be impossible for him to beat. But he had to try. Akira drew his newly obtained Heat Saber, and clashed it with Yukari's beam sabers. They held their position for a few seconds. Finally, Akira had to break off. Yukari rounded him again, but shot him in the back. Akira turned to face her, but she was gone. She was at his left, and rammed into him. Hard. Akira whipped around in time to meet another burst of gunfire. He was getting frustrated and angry. How was he supposed to beat someone this skilled at Mobile Suit piloting? He armed himself with his machine gun, aimed at Yukari, and fired. Yukari activated her thrusters and avoided the shots easily. She charged Akira again and rammed into him. Akira used his Mobile Suit's other hand to re-equip his Heat Saber. He lashed out, missing completely. Yukari had a sniper rifle, tearing into THANATOS' armor. Akira was getting very frustrated. He mixed attacks of gunshot fire and saber swings, unsuccessfully. He was ready to lose, but didn't want to. Yukari shot Akira some more. Akira popped off more rounds, still not hitting his target. *Why can't I hit her?* Akira thought. She maneuvered around him in a delicate fashion, firing away at him, and striking him in the torso. *Oh, that's why*. Akira was having trouble keeping up with Yukari. Every time he turned around, she'd hit him from behind, or the side, and occasionaly in the front. Akira just wanted out of this fight. He couldn't win, he couldn't fight, he couldn't move. He was losing. No, he had lost. He didn't know what to do. He slashed at her with a final attempt at hurting her, if even a little. But it was more than a little. As Akira swung his Heat Saber to the left, Yukari moved toward it. Akira managed to slash a giant hole into Yukari's Mobile Suit's torso. She couldn't move. Her Mobile Suit wasn't able to opperate anymore.
Even though, by some freak accident, Akira had beaten Yukari Sanaka.
Akira had won.

knight order a new way to build troops he began makeing clones to be the mainstry of the federations army this project was in development for years incase war should ever happen so knight then used this secret project and sent 35000 ships to the front line they engaged the enemy with massive fire power killing all on there paths one by one the colonys fell to the federation

Des walked to his desk and directed some men to start building a prototype for a MS he was designing. and he got the others to melt down and refine some of the stuff he got at the junkyard. "Now then. lets see what kinks ill have to work out later, since theres nothing else to do right now."

Akira couldn't believe he'd actually won. But by mistake....it hardly seemed enjoyable. But anyway, he was happy to be alive and in the semi-finals. The tournament had lasted forever, and he'd fought another opponent and won. He was addmitted into the finals, and had to fight the winner of fight 1, Hideo, the same guy Akira was wishing he wouldn't have to fight. So, facing Hideo, Akira felt the beating of his heart.
"Ready or not...HERE I COME!!!" Hideo cried charging Akira.
All Akira could do was brace himself for impact....
